TURN KEY FACTORY FOR SALE

The last couple of years have been an interesting landscape for not only footwear, but for the world as we know it.

On February 3rd 2021 we reached to Mr. Craig Williams at Jordan Brand and within 24 hours he graciously connected us with the Jordan WINGS program.

Before go any further, we feel it’s important to understand a little more of the backstory.

Back in September 30th 2020 we connected with a good friend from LA County Mental Health and Doctor a that treats Transitional Adult Youth (TAY Population).

The TAY population is made up individuals between the ages of 16-24 that are transitioning out of the state care or foster care and are at-risk.

During the pandemic, the TAY population was hit hardest, as vital mental services and educational programs were halted.

Imagine yourself with no family, no home and no one to talk with or help you navigate through life, let alone, through a pandemic.

Our goal with the TAY population was to:

1. Give them a way to build job skills individually and as a team.
2. Give them a creative outlet & shift the focus from their current situation & inspire them with possibilities.
3. Job placement and self employed career paths.

Through a series of meetings over the next few months, we created a curriculum that checked all the boxes needed to help the TAY population with job training and an outlet for their mental health.

In mid December and thru January 2021 the pandemic in LA county worsen and LA County conversations slowed down for all new LA County programs.

We decided to shift the focus from a local level & see if Jordan Brand / Nike would be interested in our program that would be able to help young adults from a global level.

Over a course of a year of exchanging emails with Jordan brand, we waited for restrictions to open up so we could donate ALL of our specialized tooling, cutting dies, pattern system and curriculum to help the future of footwear, but unfortunately restrictions have never opened up.

We know throughout the world, the youth and young adult programs desperately need to resume in-person learning to help with their mental health, but we also understand the need to keep them physically safe due to Covid. That said, we RESPECT Jordan Brand’s decision to pause their in-person learning programs until it is safe.

We GREATLY APPRECIATE the opportunity from Jordan Brand and hope that in-person teachings across the world will safely resume so that the Jordan WINGS program can help communities that needed most and continue to shape the future of footwear.

SPECIALIZED TOOLING

YEEZY 2 Spine Molding Machine:  We will include the Specialized Tooling Press we CNC machined to make the Yeezy 2 Spine.  This process took months to engineer and develop a process that allows you to 3D mold & bond leather in 1 process.

SHOE LASTS

Thousands of brand new production ready lasts in various styles and sizes.  We can grade lasts to your production needs if you need to add Youth, Women or Larger sizes of 14 to 18.

MACHINERY

We are including a fully built brand new factory that accommodate a labor force of 20 to 25 workers.  We can implement automation and pattern stitching for an additional cost if the new owners want to operate a leaning manufacturing facility.

Used machinery and brand new back up machinery will also be included and could be set up as an additional footwear factory or accessory factory.

LEATHER

Up to 100,000 sqft of leather we will be including that is specifically made for footwear.  We will also include a new Italian leather we developed for Jordan 1’s that will NOT crease your toe box / vamp!

Enough leather to produce 21,000-23,000 pairs of sneakers.

COMPONENTS

We have a huge inventory of components (heel counters, backers, foams, etc.) that will also be included.

CHEMICALS & GLUES

Specialized OEM Glue (sole) , Neoprene Glue, Water base Glue, Sole prepping chemicals, Speciality Leather Cleaners & just too many to list.

FACTORY SET UP & WORKFORCE TRAINING

We are willing to help the new owners set their factory, staff the factory and help with workforce training for a seamless transition for up to 3-5 months if needed.

Implementation of automation and pattern stitching can be done, but will require longer lead-time due to the complexity.

WHY ARE WE SELLING?

Over the past 2 years due to Covid and travel restrictions, we have put our plans on hold to build our new injection molding facility for military contract manufacturing  & to pursue patent ideas.

Unfortunately, we can not wait any longer and we need to press forward with our plans to expand our business and provide more domestic manufacturing solutions.

We will continue to offer footwear consulting services and help build domestic footwear factories as long as the demand exists.

POTENTIAL BUYERS

The operation will be best suited for individuals or a group that has previously footwear experience and/or production manufacturing management.

That said, we are still willing to help the new owners, relocate, staff and train their workforce if needed.

We’d really like to see the new owners to help the TAY population with our curriculum and we are willing to stay onboard to help finalize a state program.

Our facility is also available to take over (lease or possible purchase) to make the transition seamless if it is of interest to the new owners.
